This simple watchface idea was born out of a need to post about the olympics on the Garmin social channels without using those forbidden words. I created over 100 flags for 5 different screen sizes that have been downloaded by over 60,000 users, proving an idea doesn’t have to be complicated to be effective. This simple solution not only answered the content puzzle for the olympics, it allowed us flexibility to use it for the world cup and even became the most liked post on Garmin’s brand instagram channel when we posted the Irish flag watchface on St. Patrick’s day.
